A full inspection and evaluation (I&E) will systematically analyze the company from the inside out. After the initial meeting where details about the company’s mission; short and long term goals are discussed, the I&E, in most cases, will start with a security analysis, policy review (if policies are in place), IT assessment, and a review of operational procedures.
The process will generally include:
- Observations
- Interviews
- Research
- Overview of recommendations
- Final Report
Providing a set timetable for how long each step will take is impossible because it will vary by the size of the organization, the type of industry being observed, and location, to name a few factors. However, with this said, it is CORIE’s goal to complete the process in the shortest amount of time possible – ideally within 2-4 weeks. (Note: The times stated do not imply that CORIE associates will be on site throughout the weeks stated, but includes time for preparing the final report).
